Mobile dating apps are growing in number and are here to stay.
I don’t think they are for everyone – they tend to suit extroverts rather than those who like to take their time to get to know someone, but if you are quite outgoing and more than average looking, they can be a lot of fun. You can get to meet guys who appeal to you in your location – ones who might not otherwise have crossed your path.
Who knows? Your prince might be just round the corner from you right now and on a dating app near you!
Don’t get too carried away though. There’s a perception, and it’s often true, that these apps are used as a way to meet people for quick hook ups rather than dates leading to a potential relationship, so if hook-ups are not your thing, you probably want to proceed with caution.
In any case, make sure you follow all the usual safety tips for online dating, and don’t put yourself at risk for something that is supposed to be fun.
